Child Care Parent Survey

We are conducting a survey to determine how well the needs of Lassen County Families are being met. Please take a moment to answer the following questions. Your input will be used to develop better programs and services for parents and children throughout Lassen County. Thank you for your help.

Monthly meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for the months of July and December. 


The goal of the Lassen Child Care Local Planning Council is to facilitate the delivery of quality, accessible child care services and facilities through collaboration, education, advocacy, and maximizing local, state, federal, and private resources.


The mission of the Lassen Child Care Local Planning Council is to provide leadership and assistance in the establishment and support of quality child care by:
  • Supporting quality child development programs and quality relationships in a child's life
  • Assisting in the expansion and development of child care programs
  • Serving as a focal point for community support of child care
  • Supporting and enhancing the training and recruitment of child care professionals


The Lassen Child Care Planning Council is made up of
  • 20% Consumers
  • 20% Community Agencies
  • 20% Providers
  • 20% Community Members
  • 20% Misc. Members
